Information
Glucomaylase
Glucoamylase is manufactured
by fermentation process with selected strain belonging to Aspergillus
niger. It is used to breakdown every glucosidic bond in polysaccharides
like starch and glycogen thereby producing alpha-glucose.
Action
Glucoamylase hydrolyzes terminal 1,4-linked alpha-D-glucose residues
from the non-reducing ends of amylose chains to release free glucose
and also can hydrolyze alpha-1,6-D-glucosidic linkages in isomaltose
and dextrins.
Application range
It is widely used as saccharification agent in the process of producing
white oil, yellow wine, alcohol, beer, calcium lactate. It is also
used in fermentation of organic acid, amino acid vitamins, and antibiotics
which use glucose as fermentation culture. Other applications include
decomposition of oligosaccharide, production of dextrose etc.
Activity
Solid type: 50,000 u/g,100,000u/g.
Liquid type: 100,000 u/ml,130,000 u/ml
One unit of activity is defined as the amount of glucose produced
by 1g or 1ml enzyme under prescribed conditions:
Reaction time: 60 minutes
Temperature: 40℃
PH: 4.6
Characteristics
1) Yellow powder or transparent liquid
2) Temperature activity: 40-60℃. Optimum temperature: 58-60℃
3) PH activity: 3.0-5.5. Optimum pH: 4.0-4.5
Packing
Liquid: Plastic drum packing, 25 Liter net plastic drums or 1 cube
meter plastic drums standard
Powder: 50Kg carton drum.
Storage
Strong sun and high temperature will cause enzyme to loose activity.
Should kept in cool and dry place, avoid direct sun shining.
